March 14, 2008 No Detour Needed: Bon Jovi Feels Right At Home On This "Lost Highway" The album debuted in June atop the Billboard charts and has since sold more than a million copies worldwide, producing hit songs such as "(You Want To) Make A Memory" and "Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore." The band began a worldwide tour to promote the album last November, playing 10 sold-out shows at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., followed by trips to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and other locales. A new North American leg began in February, and the tour makes its only North Carolina appearance Sunday at the Greensboro Coliseum, marking the first time Bon Jovi has performed in Greensboro since July of 1989, in support of "New Jersey." Daughtry, fronted by hometown hero and former "American Idol" contestant Chris Daughtry, will open the show. Bon Jovi has performed just three concerts in North Carolina in the last six years, two on the "Bounce" tour in 2003 and one on the "Have a Nice Day" tour in 2006. Each of those shows was indoors. The last outdoor concert in North Carolina came in May of 2001 at Alltel Pavilion in Raleigh just before the release of "One Wild Night Live." For more news click . . . here
